It is fascinating to capture what is invisible to the naked eye, but also to capture what is visible but often overlooked. My love of close-camera work provides for this type of exploration. Nature reminds me that mystery is continuous, beyond what we might notice or understand. When I am capturing what I call, nature's simple miracle's, I am really bowing at mother earth.

When photographing, the more commonplace or unusual a subject, the more fascinated I become and the more alive I feel.

Terrific photographs can be taken in seemingly dull places. That's the advantage of closing in on a subject; the beauty can be isolated.
