I have all the time in the world for the Loropetalum. It would have to be one of my favourite shrubs. It produces hot pink, tasseled flowers, and its dark, almost black foliage is what is most interesting to me, especially when the leaves are glistening with water droplets. The Plum Gorgeous shows off most in the morning and afternoon sun and contrasts perfectly with anything yellow. This particular plant lives up to its common name. I never tire of admiring it, no matter what the angle.
